My name is Mikel Kleess, and this is my daughter Kristin and my son-in-law, Michael. Whether working at home, or at our many trade shows, I depend greatly on Kristin and Michael’s knowledge and business experience. For the past twenty-two years, we have endeavored to make Pain Wizard the effective, high quality pain relieving cream our customers have grown to expect. Often folks ask us how Pain Wizard came about, and this is our story.

The creation of Pain Wizard was a case of making “lemonade” out of a “lemon.”

On May 9, 1999, I took a fall, head first, down my stairs and shattered my right wrist. The injury was serious enough to require surgery and a three day hospital stay.

Two months later, I started physical therapy. During treatment, my physical therapist used a topical pain relieving cream on my injured arm. While looking at the ingredients, I wondered why none of the components had anti-inflammatory properties. As most pain is caused by inflammation, it made sense that reducing inflammation would also relieve pain.

Determined to create a natural pain relieving product, with anti-inflammatory ingredients, I spent several months studying ancient pain relieving herbs and spices used around the world.

I brought my ideas to a pharmacist friend, an expert in the field of natural medicine. Working together, we chose only the finest and most effective natural ingredients:

From the Hawaiian Islands, came the anti-inflammatory Bromelain , an enzyme found in pineapples; from India came the anti-inflammatory Boswellia, found in the bark of the boswellia tree; from China came the anti-inflammatory, Green Tea Extract, from the leaves of the green tea plant; from Germany came the anti- inflammatory and pain reliever, Arnica, derived from the arnica montana flower; from the American West came the pain reliever, Capsaicin, the active ingredient in chili peppers; and, of course, we added the basics for pain relief, Menthol and Camphor. Obtained from southern pine trees, Methyl Sulfonyl Methane (MSM) was added to help deliver these fine ingredients deeper into the tissues.
In July, 2001, Pain Wizard was born.

Year after year, people come to the shows and fairs to obtain Pain Wizard. Others order online or call our toll free number. Today, I have a book filled with testimonials from folks who confidently recommend Pain Wizard to family, friends and neighbors.
